Alison Price - Director
Alison started dancing at the age of 3 at the Hammond School of Dance, Chester, before moving to London at the age of 18 to join the London Studio Centre's Classical Graduate Course. In 1998 Alison joined the Images of Dance Company on their national tour: within this company she performed works by George Balanchine and Adam Cooper. Alison moved on to perform as a classical ballet dancer with the National Dance Company of Ireland on their European tour.
After moving to Bath, Alison began teaching a local schools around the area, before creating Little Dancers in 2012.
An active member of Bath Light Operatic Group and Bath Operatic and Dramatic Society, Alison performs and choreographs shows regularly at the Theatre Royal Bath. The most recent show being ‘My Fair Lady’
Alison lives in Bath with her 2 football mad boys.
Sophie Baxter
Sophie started dance lessons in Ballet, Tap and Modern/Jazz at the age of two, before going on to take singing and drama lessons just a few years later. She eventually went on to train professionally in Musical Theatre at Performance Preparation Academy, Guildford.
After graduating Sophie worked as professional Singer/Dancer/Actor, both in England and abroad.
Sophie has worked for various Dance/Stage Schools over the years and is thrilled to be joining the Little Dancers team, working alongside Alison who she met 10 years ago when they performed together in a production of Seven Brides for Seven Brothers at The Theatre Royal Bath.
Sammy Farrell
Sammy started dancing at the age of 6 here in Bath. At 16 she moved to London to train at the English National Ballet School and then onto London Studio Centre, where she gained a Diploma. At 19 she secured her first professional job on a cruise ship and went on to have a long dancing career and getting to travel all over the world.
Since retiring from dancing professionally 7 years ago, Sammy has found teaching and choreographing just as rewarding as performing. She is very pleased to be teaching in her home town, hopefully helping children find a love for dance too.
Emily Hunt
Emily started dancing at 3 years old, originating with ballet at Rennie Dance Academy.
At the age of 8 she moved to a new company, Universal Dance, and began taking classes in Street Dance, Commercial Dance and contemporary.
Along with taking regular classes, during her time at Universal Dance she was also part of a competing team for Street dance, where she travelled the country to take part in competitions. She won titles such as Six Nation Champions.
Emily completed her level 2 dance teaching qualifications during her time at UD and began taking on teaching roles when she was 14, leading classes and doing 1:1 sessions with competing children.
Emily has since completed her Contemporary Dance Bachelor degree with Honours at Bath Spa University. During this time teaching various workshops across different primary schools in Bath, furthering her love for teaching dance to children.
